This studio doesn't exist.

Marlowe & Ash Colour Studio, Mara Okafor-Lindqvist, the address on SE Division, the clients in the dashboard and the reviews on the home page are all invented. It's a concept build showing what a booking system for a one-person salon can look like when it does the admin instead of the owner.

The booking flow is real: availability is worked out from the studio's hours, each service's duration, a 15 minute buffer between appointments and a cap of two long colour appointments a day. Taking a slot removes it for everyone else, including in another browser tab.

In this build the data lives in your browser rather than a shared database, and emails are written to a log you can read in the owner dashboard instead of being delivered. Payments are not connected — the deposit is recorded on the booking and marked as due, ready to be wired to a payment provider.

The owner dashboard is at /owner. It's seeded with about 25 fictional clients, past and future bookings, a few cancellations and a waitlist, all marked as demo data so real bookings stay separate.
